Go that step further than just a daily run or cycle and explore these boating hotspots in Devon.

The Jurassic Coast

The Jurassic Coast was the first-ever world heritage site in England.

Stretching from Exmouth to Old Harry’s Rocks in Dorset, the stunning aquatic landscape accompanies 95 miles of the coast.

Whether you’re canoeing or kayaking, you can explore the many towns and villages it trails throughout and discover all the historic landmarks, serving for great photo opportunities.

Start Bay

Explore the beautiful, 15 mile stretch of coastline that is home to beaches like Blackpool and Slapton Sands.

Keep on the lookout for the iconic lighthouse near Dartmouth and enjoy the view of the surrounding untouched greenscape and farmland.

Stop off in Hallsands, a magnificent fishing village and indulge in the culture it has to offer.

Tamar Valley

Dividing Devon and Cornwall, the Tamar Valley is the homeland of the Tamar, Tavy and Lynher rivers, offering great scope for your next boating adventure and many other water sports you might be considering.

If you’re a Poldark fan, take the opportunity to explore where the TV programme was filmed, whilst enjoying the view on the water.

Bordering the Dartmoor National Park, the Tamar Valley accompanies many tourist attractions like Buckland Abbey and Morwellham Quay for a bit of added history to your trip.

Salcombe

Look forward to the Summer of 2021 with all the family at Salcombe.

Enjoy sea kayaking in the gorgeous coastal town, in the South Hams district, Devon.
