You may have already guessed, dry bags will keep your things dry, but the activities they can be used for, how they work and so forth may remain un-answered for you – not for much longer!

If you’re on the fence about purchasing your first-ever dry bag or it’s still unclear where you can take yours currently, our guide will answer all your pressing questions.

What is a dry bag and what are they made of?

Let’s start from the beginning, shall we?

Dry bags are effectively waterproof bags made from pure grade 7.5mm thick waterproof polymer.

They are extremely robust and when sealed properly, they prevent any water from getting inside and are also leak-proof.

Our dry bags are available in two sizes; 10 litres and 20 litres and available in a range of colours to suit you. And hey, we’ll even throw in a FREE waterproof phone case!

What can dry bags be used for?

Due to their waterproof nature, dry bags are useful for almost any outdoor adventure, including swimming to protect your things from water, mud, dust, and so on.

Travelling, water sports, camping, you name it – our waterproof dry bags have been tried and tested to protect your belongings in any climate.

We have listed some specific activities they are suitable for below…

  • Swimming
  • Camping
  • Hiking and rock climbing
  • Skiing and snowboarding
  • Boating

Another common use for our dry bags is to use them for separating dirty from clean clothing when going on holiday.

Do Dry Bags Float?

Yes, all of our dry bags float, but when filled with heavy items, their buoyancy will be reduced.

As a rough judgement, our 10L Dry Bags will float for around 20 minutes in rough water and all the contents will remain dry and protected.
